The widescreen version of Speed, my directing debut
The story of Roddy Retro, a guy living in the city who gets up late everyday and has to race to school.
I made this short movie during a masterclass with the help of professionals at AT5, a tv channel in amsterdam. The subject was self-portrait and it took me about three weeks to make it.
I wanted to make a film which people could identify themselves with. I thought about the haste and speed in the society we live in (and my own mornings, hurrying to school) and this is what came out of it with tips and help from others.
